Ok so I'm at Delmarva today and got to talking to a fellow MDshooter. He was telling me about the long range shooting course he had just taken and how he had figured out some bad habits he had. One being using his thumb on the rear bag to adjust the sights. Well Damn I do that also. So I started repositioning my hand to keep it away from the bag when Im getting ready to fire. Well I'll be damn.....two three shot strings at 300 yards, both groups the holes were touching each other. So first things first I don't remember your name"Tony...1974" but thanks for the talk made the 2 hour drive well worth it. Secondly I wanted to ask everyone what bad habit they have/had (Hookers, blow, and what you do with your dog and peanut butter excluded) and what results they got from changing them. Keep it simple please.

Sometimes I forget'ta wipe the booger off of my booger hook before placing my booger hook on the bang switch; kinda' makes a mushy trigger squeeze.

I'm just now re-training myself to shoot left handed because of a laser cauterization for an eye bleed in my right eye that left me a blurry spot right in the middle.
So I've got all my bad habits back, and no muscle memory to counteract them.

I started last week at scout camp doing archery and rimfire rifle.
Qual'd up to marksman 1st class...
of course my 14y.o. qual'd at sharpshooter... made his day! lol good for him!

Ok so here is what I've learned so far:
Arcamm knows how to party and keep your pets away
Boomboom needs to get out more
Alphabrew has to much of nothing to say
Slingblade makes a good point but Alpha brew could learn somethings from him
Never shoot Lou45's guns or shake his hand
And that scottysan kid shoots better than him

I bought a beautiful new 686+ and have only been to the range once, and only gave her 50 rounds.

I'm working on correcting my bad habit. Can't wait for the AGC Safety and Orientation in September.

When I am on the bench, I can't seem to keep my feet flat and relaxed.

I also tend to not breathe through my shots.

I correct both by stopping, relaxing, and wondering HOW SOME 2013'ers HAVE SO MANY DAMN POSTS!
