Think the only thing I'd change on those lowers is the selector at the full auto position says Engage and I get that, But Id want it to say "Freedom" !!!!

The price is pretty amazing considering it comes with BCG and charging handle.
The one thing I notice in the specs is that its a carbine length gas system.

I run a 7.5 inch barrel with pistol length gas system on my pistol. (no issues with mine, not one malfunction ever)
Are any of you other guys running carbine, middy, outside of pistol length gas systems, and on what length barrel?

I would think once you go out to 10+ inches on the barrel on a pistol, mid length or carbine would be fine. I would bet either mid or carbine lengths are what most are running on SBR's.

Very nice. How do you like the blade? Wishing I had gone with that over the sig brace.

I personally like the blade much better then the Sig brace. It is much lighter and less bulky and really feels better to me.

    Engage lower, KVP upper.

That is basically what I want to build right there, but I'd probably go shockwave. Otherwise, that is it. Have a 16" upper laying around so I can swap between pistol and carbine and then a happy man.

Yeah I might go with a shockwave in the future, but I like the size the way it is now.

Alright what's the consensus on barrel length I'm gonna build my first pistol. Is 7.5" cool or is it too short? 10.5"?

7.5" is certainly cool, but don't expect it to be real practical.

If you want a shooter, go 10.5". If you want something silly and fun to take out and go bang, either will do.
