    I think I'm going to give this a try. I've never been a fan of the forward grips, especially on my SBR. This is low profile enough that it might be worthwhile for me especially on a 11.5 SBR w/ a 10" rail. I like the idea of pushing the AFG as far forward as possible. For me personally, forward grips are really only an index point for hand position. That's just me, though.

    Kev, whats the correlation between a handstop and barricade work?

    06Mega answered the question. There is a handstop up front that can be used for bracing on barricades, but it is obviously less than what you have to work with when using a vertical.
