I walked out of the polling station today and walked over to a group of people handing out Democrat campaign literature and asked them what they thought about gerrymandering. To a man/woman, none of them even knew what the term meant - pathetic!

...and the sheeple shall be led by the smiles on our faces.

Vallario is gone. Bunch of of the Miller stooges are gone and therefore even more liberal replacements are coming in. So much for any semblance of sanity over at HJC. Lol Hogan is gonna be signing gun control bills left and right if he wins.

Mac Middleton is gone too. He was really a fantastic Miller stooge that always voted the right way when it didn't matter *cough* filibuster *cough.*

Not if Republicans manage to pick up a few seats, then Dems cannot override a veto.

    This, as usual.

There are a number of 'problem' Ds who will not have jobs next session. This is a great opportunity for folks to start shedding some shekels and shoe leather for solid Pro (or at least better) 2A candidates in November.

We cannot allow this Socialist wave to rise, regardless of what office we're looking at.

GA and AG... time to fight back.

    ALSO...

Don't be discouraged by the apparent skew of D votes to R... "Unaffiliated" voters are where this election will turn.

And people still want to support Hogan?

*****Absolutely. He's still a Republican. Ben Jealous is an outright socialist. You think Hogan is bad because there's no shall issue or whatever pet purity issue you may have? Look and see what Ben Jealous thinks of the 2nd amendment. He wants to tax "the rich", and force companies to pay more fees and taxes which will drive even more businesses out of Maryland. He's very much an open borders guy and is a big supporter of Bernie Sanders.

To say there is no difference between Jealous and Hogan is flat out wrong. It is unlikely that Maryland, being a very blue state now, will ever elect a conservative. You'll move away you say? Jealous wants an exit tax on folks leaving the state. If Ben Jealous becomes our next governor, expect a litany of craziness from his left wing zealotry. You will pay more of your hard earned income to the state, and fees will go up to pay for the stupidity of his "equality" for all shtick. God help us if Ben Jealous is our next governor.

    >Maryland gun owners website
    >shall issue
    >pet purity issue

    Lmao is this for real

Shall issue and stopping further criminalization of gun ownership is mdshooters 101 - two things Hogan is a miserable failure on.

Instead, in a move that legislative insiders attributed in large measure to an effort by Busch to maintain geographic political balance with his caucus, the speaker announced Wednesday that he was naming Del. Luke Clippinger of Baltimore city to succeed Vallario.

Interesting choice. I figured a Baltimore Delegate would get it, but I don't have a good idea of what Clippinger will be like. I suspect he will be at least somewhat against 2A issues as we see them, since Busch appointed him, but maybe he'll be a surprise...

NRA rating of 7%. Thats quite high for Maryland Democrats.

    Same rating as Vallario btw.

I’m wondering if there is a way to view his case history as a prosecutor.

Seems there's not a lot of detail about his time as an ASA on the Interwebs. The big deal: "Afro-Latino Gay." What that has to do with his ability as a legiscritter IDK...

Clippinger is a rabid anti from what I recall. Without having done my homework at this point, I have very little faith in him as a fair administrator regarding bills and issues important to our 2A rights

Papa Joe was the devil we knew.

Somewhat? He's a gay Presbyterian elder Democrat from Baltimore City. He's going to be pretty bad.
