Nice, looks clean. I like the Drever's blade style, but the Ontario could make it to the EDC pocket.

I carry the model 2 in AUS-8. No complaints for the price. Easy 1 hand manual open, not spring assisted. The clip is painted and the paint does wear off. D2 is likely a better steel than AUS-8 though not stainless.

I can't find where it's made, so I'm guessing it's Chinese. I can't see carrying a $70 Chinese knife branded to a company that doesn't make knives when there are other options.

Yep. If your going with a cheaper Chinese made knife then a Kershaw is my choice. Some of those are good enough and cheap enough that you won't be out by much if you lose it.

I have a few. Always assumed the were USA. One even has a USA flag stamped on the blade. I feel violated.

I think most of them are still US made and the foreign made Kershaw knives are clearly marked as such, at least among the ones I have.

Ontario makes great knives- they’ve been producing many of the military use knives for some time and an American company.

They make the M7 bayonet, the USAF Survival Knife, the M1942 Machete, the Navy MK3 MOD 0 diving/survival knife, the M9 bayonet, and most recently, the USMC OKC-3S Bayonet. Ka-Bar makes Ka-Bar.

Right you are. Just checked my Ka-bar...
