    So, looks like a slide action to me and as I would expect slide back, action opens, hammer cocked... but in the other pics it also looks like slide back, action closed as well? I have a takedown slide action Winchester model 97 but the action closes only when you slide the action forward leaving the hammer cocked. I keep looking at the pics and scratching my head. What am I missing?
