New FFL03 here. Need to ship from AZ to MD, I already own the gun (family holding it in AZ). I am getting conflicting information on if they can ship directly to me or not, and what process to follow. My "understanding" was they take a copy of my FFL03 and put it in the sealed box (no ammo) and take it to a UPS store. They keep a second copy of the FFL03 in case someone asks. Tell them it is a firearm, ship overnight to my registered address, signature required, etc.
Now I am reading they can't do that? That they have to go to a store FFL to do a transfer? I don't mind that...but seems like an extra step that was not required.
Any ideas?
