    Never Trumper POS ..

When given a binary choice, he picked up his marbles and went home. He did nothing to insure we got Gorsuch. Insure our march to Socialism was put a bit in check as well. Be anti whoever, but he lied continuously about Trump, inferring erroneous political positions of him. Lyin Ben..

He has acknowledges Trump was a much better candidate than Clinton. He lives in CA and the way he voted matters about the same as what any of our votes mattered in MD. Both states were going to chose Clinton. He does acknowledge when Trump does good things. The never Trumpers seem to always hate him no matter what he does, which is not the case with Ben.

....so you don't like him because he didn't support your political candidate? Sure, Trump was a better choice than Hillary, but if given a choice between shooting your hand or your femoral artery, would you take joy in the 'better' choice?

Trump most definitely was America's savior in this election. Unless your definition is different from mine. Trump delivered us from the monarch of Mrs Bill Clinton.

Can you tell me if he isn't good, what makes him bad? I think he's made a few rookie mistakes, but he's not a politician and he's still learning the ropes. I think his mandates have all been on point.

I would rather see him make a few mistakes than to willfully take this country in the wrong direction.

For this time and place, Trump most definitely was America's savior.

Trump isn't terrible in my opinion, but I wouldn't call him a savior. Some of his mistakes are being rectified now (electing Bannon to the National Security Council, for instance). The media certainly hasn't helped his case.

I think most of his executive orders have been on point; however he still hasn't successfully gotten any actual legislation through...instead of leading the party and the country on healthcare done right, he allowed that awful excuse for a 'repeal and replace' plan to go forward...he's basically continued the "airstrikes on Syria, bombs on Afghanistan, and saber rattling on North Korea" policy of Obama, though he's a bit more heavy handed so far....the list goes on.

There's also the 100 day plan he laid out earlier, which he isn't close to fulfilling - where's the constitutional amendment on term limits, bans on white house and congressional officials becoming lobbyists X years after leaving government service, cancelling Obama's unconstitutional executive actions, etc. He flipped on China being a currency manipulator - likely to gain Xi's support against the DPRK.

That said, it *is* nice that we're finally working closer with China to inhibit DPRK, there are planned federal cuts, he's working on the illegal immigration problem, moving toward using energy right here in the U.S. (Keystone, fracking, etc.), and a lot of the other things he has done.

I have concerns about renegotiating the trade deals not going our way, and whatever the GOP submits next as a replacement to O'care.

I'm not saying he's bad. Definitely better than the Democrat alternative we had. However, Reagan he ain't.

Lets imagine America is a car driving towards a cliff. The president is the driver. What has Trump done to stop us from falling off the cliff?

The only thing he's done is to prevent Hilary from putting her foot on the accelerator. We're still at the same speed we were at when Obama was in office.

He just got in the car Dog. He hasn't even finished adjusting his seat and mirrors yet.

The world has gone crazy, we're $20T in debt, we have the lowest workforce participation rate in years (and high 'real' unemployment), tons of policies stifling small business growth, etc. etc.

Do we have time to adjust the seat and mirrors before we slam on the brakes? Nothing negative about Trump necessarily; just a picture of where the last 17 years or so have gotten us.

You're entitled to your opinion, but do you want someone who is just going to do something for the sake of just doing something? I think with the climate in this country, he's got to calculate every move. Who's got his back? The media is willing to make up whatever lies to make him look bad. Of course the Democrats think he's the devil's spawn and lets not forget about the unsupporting Republican establishment.

Where does the guy catch a break?

In my opinion, President Trump is in political quicksand with no one there to help him but the citizenry who voted for him.

I agree to this. He has many enemies and frienimes. Those who voted him
Into office want to believe he is on their side and continue to support him. I think he needs to work harder to inspire his base to pressure the republican establishment into action. He can back down on the wall, he can lose on Obamacare but if he delivers on jobs and wage inflation and stays tough on crime and illegal immigration it's a big win. He'll get re-elected and the rank and file republicans can ride his coat tails into 2020.

For sure it's a grave situation we face but it's gonna take some time to undo 8 years worth of "I got a phone and a pen" style of governance. If we return to this convesation in a year with all the same issues un-addressed, well, any criticism is fair in my book. What are we at, just over a hundred days?

What would be your first move and how would you accomplish it, also what time frame would you have it done in?
