I am looking for recommendations for restaurants in the Westminster area. When visiting McDaniel college, besides fast food, we have tried Baugher's (of course), Rocksalt Grille, Maggie's Tim Thai on Main Street and a Japanese Steakhouse (cannot remember the name).

I was wondering if Bullock's is any good plus any other places locals know and like.

Bullock’s is very good. It is a casual family restaurant. Your food is living in stables out back.

Ying Thai is good if you like Thai food. Right off Main Street on John st.

Johansson’s has great food and beer brewed on site if you are into that. Their sister restaurant across the street is a standard Irish pub with excellent scotch eggs.

    Paradiso has decent Italian food.

Paradiso's is good for Italian food.

If you want to travel a bit take 27 west to Brick Ridge. It is expensive but very good food. They have their regular menu and then each week picks a new state and samples food for that state. It is very good.

Rock Salt is good as well.

Brick Bridge is good but the place was better when it was "The Quail Ridge Inn"

Sakura is the Japanese Steak House, very good. Johanson’s & O’Lourdans as others have said. Also as others have said, Rock Salt Grille most definitely. For Mexican, you can’t beat Cinco De Mayo behind Buffalo Wild Wings (is a chain but one of only 3).

Forbidden City is the best Chinese place I have ever eaten at. If my wife and I want Chinese, we drive from Pikesville to Westminster for Forbidden City. Yes, I believe it is that good.
But, but, they are CLOSED on Christmas. WTF?!?!?!

We liked it way back when, but had a couple of bad experiences, then got knifed on Christmas.

Not Westminster, but China Manor in Hampstead is awesome sauce.

Ying Thai is the former Gary & Dell's (now Maryland Mallet), and it is damn good. Plus, they have the real deal Broaster chicken.

    O'Lordan's. Sit at the bar.

    Buds at Silver Run

Habanero's at 140 Village was above average the last two times I went there.

We like Mediterraneano, but haven't been since they moved from Planet Fitness, to downtown on Main St.
