Off 50 towards the Bay Bridge. I am not a member, so I won't pass rumors, but do some research, look at their hours and draw your conclusions.

I understand it's a great club. They have regular bullseye matches.

It is a great club. We have Bullseye pistol, Highpower and Rimfire rifle, Action Pistol, Trap, Plinking Range and an Archery Range. We also have a juniors program for children.

    WWW.AAFG.ORG is the website.

That’s what happens community’s build up heard the golf course was there before the houses That’s a nice golf course to play. Why do the people disgust you they might not even know the range is there except for the noise. If the range is run so well how do you join saw on the website you need a sponsor, what if you don’t know anyone?

Go to a meeting. I know of several people who didn't know anyone and went to meetings until they found someone to sponsor. Might have to go to more than one meeting. If you go to one and stop, then you really aren't that motivated (my conclusion).
My recollection is one community does have an acknowledgement of the presence of the club in their contracts the other doesn't ( I believe)

I've been a member of both clubs and all I can say is there is always someone who tries to make issues where none exist, or where a minor problem is and blows it out of proportion until rumors sprout and the monkeys are flying over Oz.

Both clubs are great but have differing ideas of what they promote. Both have trap, both have high power ranges, both have pistol ranges, both have safety rules for proper sighting in of rifles (though they differ slightly, in concept). They each achieve the goal of safely getting a rifle from out of the box to sighted in.
Now if you think that if at 25 yards you aren't hitting the target, so your rifle must be shooting high (bullet still rising) so you move out to 100 yards and shoot 15 more rounds and STILL can't see holes in paper, well I'm afraid I can't help you and neither club will want you for a long term member. Just my opinion.

AAF&G has action pistol, SCFHC does not, AAF&G has specific shoots for muzzle loaders SCFHC does not, SCFHC has a buffalo shoot in January for rifles of .40 or bigger using black powder or smokeless and shoot out to 300 yards AAF&G does not. Both have matches for military rifles (modern, vintage) with their own rules for the matches. SCFHC has a .22 rimfire match every June AAF&G does not. However, AAF&G has a Junior Rifle program designed to teach young shooters (11 yo and up) the basics of shooting and how to compete in rifle matches (CMP & NRA styles) and they take the youth to several matches every year. SCFHC does not have a youth shooting program, though at one time they had about 15 youth (middle school and high school) shooting in their air rifle 'league'. Both offer hunter safety, though in these times more and more of this seems to 'online' with just a range day required.
    I hope this helps.

AAF&G seems to have more matches scheduled on their calendar which means for those who want to just go and shoot on their own it MIGHT be easier at SCFHC, that said, from my experience if one can get time off during the week either club might suit you. Neither club seems to be swamped during the day on Monday through Thursday maybe even Friday.

I can't imagine any Realtor that knows the are not having a document for the buyers notifying them about the possibility of noise from the range.

I said 'I believe'... I've never purchased a home in either community. AS to the ethics of Realtors, I'm not of them either. :)

Some one asked about Stoney Creek (SCFHC) and someone else mentioned Anne Arundel Fish and Game (AAF&G) so I was trying to help. If you think I was way off base my apologies.
