At the york show guy had a crate of Tula 91/30's with all matching numbers and were in pretty darn good shape. Wife saw them and said what are you waiting for, go ahead and get it. Gonna pick up a M44 soon to complete the collection of russions, here is a pic next to its little brother.

yeah a little more than i wanted to pay but figured why not, i mean i could get one from aim for cheaper but it wouldn't be a tula and don't know if all the numbers would be matching

its a 1925, pretty cool markings, don't know what they mean, some weird symbols on the stock. I think it might be a regular M91, in which case since its a 1925 its pretty rare at least by 7.62x54r.net standards

actually i am confused now, it is for sure a 91/30, but it says tula's were made from 1930- and the date on this one is 1925r.

they had some dragoons made prior to 30 that were converted either during or after the war. I have one dated 1926 that looks mint and is one hell of a shooter. surplus ammo in sub 2" groups more like 1 1/4" at 100 yds and only 1/2" high at 12 oclock position.
