With Amy Barrett on the Scotus everything changes. We will probably win every case and the dems know it. That's why they want to pack the court. Manchin already said he's against it and I believe Frankenfeinstein said she was against it too.

the good news is i just don't see anyone going house to house to take our guns. but with a ban there will be no more new guns. and getting discovered & arrested if we go to the range etc to shoot them. sure, most will keep their guns, but locked up in the safe really isn't why we bought them.

I don't think it would end up at house-to-house or registration/hunting license based confiscation either. I assume it would be like Australia, give you time to turn in all your guns, then fines /jail for anyone after that. My guess is if the govt needs to visit your house for any reason , they see you're in the data base as a gun owner so they arrive with swat and ransack/seize then arrest you for having guns. Sort of picking people off as they go, not a mass seizure. I still kind of doubt that would last long but a tragedy is all the A & C (and heirlooms) that got destroyed during that "govt heyday".

Australia was never a Republic and doesn't have a second amendment. They are an offshoot of the Brits who, if I remember correctly, were willing to compromise with Hitler. :sad20:

They have no plan for gun owners, the only plan President Harris will have is that there will be no gun owners since all guns will be banned.

Cool, it will only take 6 years of our rights being infringed for the token, narrow ruling case to get there, and by that time Clarence Thomas and maybe one other will be replaced putting us right back in the same situation we are now: Begging justice Roberts to actually read the constitution.

Unfortunately it may not last long. If President Biden serves two years and one day and then falls over dead (or the Dems use the 25th Amendment) President Harris will finish that term. Then she can run for another term in 2024, and ANOTHER term in 2028. During her almost TEN years as President she will appoint enough SC justices to swing the Court far left.

You are right. The harsh reality is that there will not be confiscations. If guns are banned by a tyrannical government, our only hope is that conservatives go on the offensive, picking them off just like they pick us off. I'm kind of in doubt that anybody would do anything besides cower in fear and hide their guns somewhere.

I decided I would never comply with gun banning tyrants 20 years ago as soon as George W. Bush said he supported banning "assault weapons" so that's when I started stocking up.... 50rd boxes of 9mm, $7.... $9 for 50rd boxes of .45auto.... 20rd boxes of US military 30.06 from 1969, $3.... Brand new SKS rifles, $90.... I can go on and on. It was a good time to get prepared!
