I spent the summer canning cucumbers! I havenít done canning since I was a kid so it was an amazing adventure! We will have a bigger garden next year!

Found my grandmothers 33 qt granite ware canner. It has some rust spots in the pot but no holes and the wire rack is coated in mild surface rust.
Would it be safe to use after cleaning the rack with steelwool?

Its just the water bath canner right? Its fine unless it leaks

Id just scrub the rust with some steel wool and use it. Be neat to get some use out of it since your grandma used it also
