Last night, I met my wife for a nice dinner
at the Tiki Bar at Solomon’s, and we left together to drive home in our separate vehicles. Our place is in Lexington Park,
St Mary’s County. We were almost there
when she got pulled over and was charged
    with DUI.
So, we are in need of a good local attorney
who specializes in this stuff in St Mary’s.
    Any ideas?

There are lawyers across from Chancellors run, next to the Chipotle.

Otherwise, you may have to go to Leonardtown.

Read the court records on who has gotten PBJ or off of DUI charges in that court. Then higher that lawyer, you don't want an out of town lawyer. You want the one that plays golf with the judge an sees them everyday.

    Good luck!

As an out of town criminal defense attorney I concur with this. Positive outcomes in DUI cases are, for the most part, much more dependent on the defense attorney’s reputation and relationship with prosecutors/judges than the attorney’s skill. PBJ or stet docket would be an ideal outcome.

Thanks, folks...some great suggestions seen here and also received on PMs...reached out to one
attorney cited here but he was not available. Inigoes’ recommendation was for a guy with 34-year practice here in the county...we think, in light of
JerseyMike’s post, we may go with him...probably more expensive than some of the newer attorneys,
but his experience in this district court may be worth
it - we sure hope so, anyway.
    Again, thanks, all.
