I mean? Good news, but CMP said they got the Garands 2 months ago and have been sorting through them. I finally got my M1 collectors club memebrship back. I just need to get notary to stamp/sign my paperwork and my wife and agree and I am in for a service grade.

It’ll be my first. Wish me luck. It’ll be joining little brother 1943 Inland I already have in my safe.

I wonder if they will sell one from a bordering state over the counter if he's bought ammo from them before?

You can buy over the counter at either the North or South store, as long as your paperwork is in order.

You can take it with you, or they can ship it to you.
