In defense of United policy, they do run a brisk business with lots calls, queries and foot traffic in and out of there. Usually they do put a name list with contact numbers on consignment items (via sticky note). Sometimes (especially for popular items and multiple handlings) the list can get misplaced or falls off.
I have completed several transfers here. Its a good store. Most of the time they notify all on the wait list on availability. Yet, I have been passed over or not notified on an item or two as well. That being said, if it is something you REALLY want, try to make every effort to be "Johnny on the spot" otherwise it will likely get snapped up by someone else.
Give them another try....they get a lot of items here and offer at aggressive prices to sell, sell, sell
Ps) I did not get the Glock (too small for my hands)...and I have no connection to United except being an occasional customer

I have purchased from them, normally you pay and can start the paper work on the good to sell date, and once you get cleared, 7 days later pick it up.

Someone needs to buy that. A little "barneying" but that's more common than not for a Dan Wesson. If I had an HQL I would buy it.
