    Behind enemy lines...
Can anybody give me a recommendation on a holster for S&W Model 327 TRR8? Leather preferably, others considered. Thanks, snakep.

Look into the Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake. It seems like the one for the R8 should work for the TRR8.

Are Galco's leather holsters worth the extra $$ it takes to buy them as opposed to cheaper leather holsters that one can see on Amazon and other sites? They look really nice to me but I just wanted to verify that they function as well as they look. Thanks.

I have been using 2 Galco "concealable" holsters for the past 14 years for A LOT of carry. I have a black one and a havana one. I have no doubt if I only had 1 of them that it would still be rock solid.

That being said, a pill that's over $100 dollars is usually a big one for someone to swallow. There are probably just as good alternatives out there for a tiny bit less, but these have always been my go to for carry out of many holsters.

I have been carrying a P229, not exactly a small, lightweight pistol.

Thanks for the feedback. Galco holsters seem to get good reviews and I've been wondering if I should get one for my P320.

Galco holsters are like Glocks. They aren't sexy but they are moderately priced and work very well.

If you're looking for one locally Virginia Arms in Manassas carries a metric ass load of them.

That's great to know. It will be much better to check one out in person and make sure the fit is right before buying the holster. I want to get one for my P320 and while Galco does not make one specifically for it, all indications are that holsters made for the P250 will fit the P320. But I want to check it out first before plunking down the $$.

Crazy how the range of one holster can be. I had a p239 and holsters for it can take the walther I had. Also my p229 Galco concealable fits my new vp9 and 45C damn near perfect. So much so that I'm going to use them with it.
Of course, leather is much more forgiving.
