WBOC-TV is the flagship news station on Delmarva and broadcast this news story about tonight’s Accomack County’s vote.

WBOC-TV will no doubt be there tonight to record more news footage and interviews about the vote on the Resolution tonight.

If you have something you want to say about the Second Amendment you could possibly have your comment broadcast to all of Eastern Shore Maryland and Virginia, and most of lower Delaware.

WBOC-TV’s broadcast coverage area is significantly larger in Maryland and Delaware than in Virginia.

Not that it means diddly but my ancestor was the 2nd Sheriff of Accomac. He replaced William Stone, the first sworn Sheriff in America, who high-tailed it to the Maryland Colony with his puritan peeps. /hijack.

Common refrain at the Virginia BoS meetings is that these are the largest crowds to ever attend these meetings.

Only about 32,000 in Accomack County population here but still many are here tonight:

BoS approves the Second Amendment Resolution, adds Accomack County to the VCDL victory map!

Through last deer season, I spend multiple weekends a year with a hunt club down there.

Some of the hallway and social conversation tonight was surprising.

Many conversations ranged well beyond the 2A topic of the night.

They remarked with anger and dismay about political and cultural degradation elsewhere: political discourse (the incessant lying in DC), the loss of American civility, the acceptance of homelessness and the filth tolerated by cities such as San Francisco, the negative influence of socialism on younger voters.

These were clearly not one-issue 2A voters. They cared about the whole country, not just their county.

The average age tended to be older (with a lot more women than you see at a gun show) yet they whipped out their phones and punched up the BoS website to listen in the hallway to the live stream of the BoS hearing they couldn’t squeeze into.
