    Greetings fellow MD Shooters

I wanted to ask how enforceable is the Code of Conduct for the Simon Malls.

    https://www.simon.com/legal/code-of-conduct

It's private property. If they don't like you carrying a weapon and catch you doing so and say you have to leave, then you have to leave. If you don't, it's just good old fashioned trespass. Just like when they throw out a twelve year old for skateboarding inside the mall.

But: is it actually illegal? "No Guns" signs in MD don't have the force of law (though they do in some states) in the sense that violating them is itself a crime. As a stated policy that allows the property owner to get you subsequently arrested for trespass, that's a different thing.

Me not lawyer, me cave man.

Thanks for the response. I have the same interpretation. Rule of thumb is to make sure not To print!
