A few years ago I had my house burglarized during the day, and despite having a monitored alarm system, the police didn't show up for nearly an hour. It affected me a lot mentally looking out for the safety of my family. Soon after I began thinking that I needed some self protection and have since purchased a shotgun, .22 and a couple of 9mm. I learned a bit and practiced, but since that time have moved on and neglected using my firearms or really thinkign about them much.
Fast forward to today and I'm nearing retirement, and with that will probably come full time international travel for at least a couple of years.
Not sure I want to sell my guns, but what are my options for storing them?
My other belongings will probably be stored in a very small storage locker here, or in a tax-free state that I hope to establish domicile.
