The official announcement was this morning...I've been aware of it for a while but was sworn to secrecy. The Anaconda is back! https://rangehot.com/2021-colt-anaconda-bodacious-big-bore/

I think it's a beauty, but I've never been tempted to pay what Colt asks for a revolver.

    Oh no.

I've still got the 2020 Python on my short list of future acquisitions - I'm holding off for now because they seem to be going for $400 to $600 ABOVE MSRP.

Looks like I need to add one of those to the list as well.

I dislike how Colt plans its products for civilian market. Just look at what it did with AR15.

Been a lot of years now since people have mentioned looking forward to buying new Colt D/A revolvers.

    Good to see!

The Delta Elite, Python, and now the Anaconda are top of my wish list. Got passed up in favor of AR10/15 stuff and ammo when S started to HTF early last year, being collectable revolvers and 1911s are a lower priority.

I bought one the new "old" cobras when they first came out. What a POS. After the third time back from Colt, I consigned it.
I hope the new pythons and anacondas are much better.
Again, I still like my old wheel guns.

I could be tempted if I ever get out of MD and into the woods. Not fond of bears. Stainless steel is a plus for me, under the circumstances, though I've always preferred blue.

Back in the '90s I saw an Anaconda in .45 Colt with a 5" barrel...very, very rare. The asking price was something like $650...shoulda bought it...knew I should...but was going through a divorce at the time and thought it best to save the money. I shoulda used a credit card and overextended myself if necessary...but that's the past. I eventually did get a 4" .45 Colt Anaconda but it cost a "bit" more than $650!

Did the infusion of money from CZ make this possible? I am inclined to think so. It's a nice gun, but I'm not a revolver fan.
