Recently picked up a great boat from another Forum member with only one major issue. Starboard windshield was broken by a tree.
Any know any places that could repair or replace the windshield. I’m in Hanover pa but I’ll travel if need be.
Figured I’d check the MD brain trust

The glass was likely made by these folks. I'd give them a call to see if they have the patterns for an oe replacement.

Thanks I sent them a message

FYI they will probably send you to a "local" dealer. I spoke with the one in Woodbridge, and they said TaylorMade was not making any one-off glass for a while. Might be worth giving it a shot again though.

Send me your email address and I will forward you the conversation.

If it were me, if I could score a nice replacement frame, I would try some Lexan, it should be flexible enough but it probably would cost as much as curved safety glass.

Search eBay for your boat make and model. You'd be surprised what pops up.

I'm not sure what year your Chaparral is (great boat by the way). But Chaparral used to have parts catalogs on their website. I think you had to go to owners and then pick the year and model - if it is avaliable for your boat it should give you the part number to go to TaylorMade with and see what they have.
Also, if you have the exact dimensions and/or part number then an online source like great lakes skipper might have what you need. I jusst looked and they have a handful of oem Chaparral windshields.
