Saw so many Turkeys at work this week and starting to mate. Toms strutting to attract the females. I took a few pics with my phone.

That's pretty amazing. In all the time I've spent in the woods hiking, I have never seen a wild turkey.

Couple years ago my wife called me at work to tell me there was a turkey with about 10 babies in our backyard in western Howard County. I told her she was nuts. Well....

Come to my house and you can see all you want. That is when they want you to see them.

Sometimes they come across the parking lot 30 in a single file line. One time me and the dog followed them into the woods but they were so fast, we couldn't keep up with them.

They are way quicker than I ever imagined! Our dog got out when the mom and babies were next to the house, and they disappeared in the blink of an eye. When we got the dog inside they started slowly dropping one by one down from a nearby tree. They were pretty entertaining to watch!

Took that from your vehicle? They let you get that close?

I've seen MANY turkeys while Deer hunting in the past.
I"ve seen even more Geese while Deer hunting.
Hell, I"ve seen an 8 lb bass while Deer hunting too.

Many times I've seen Turkeys in a field just south of Cambridge on Rt 50.

Many times people will just think they are turkey buzzards but you gotta take a better look at the colors in the head/neck. Feature tones and of course the beards on the neck are a give away.

Lol. Back in November I saw a HUGE 11 point while fishing with my younger son. He walked up on us about 20yds away on the other side of Potapsco.

My son looked over at me as the buck wandered off after we watched him a couple minutes and says (he is 10 years old mind you), “I bet you wish you had your crossbow with you, don’t you, Dad?”

Kid has a sense of humor that’ll get him in trouble. Especially when I almost feel off my rock laughing.

Yes I see them everyday. Saw a few flocks still mating the past few days. Actually I am on evening shift now. Also I have seen about 5-6 foxes each night and they are mating. They are all over and out where I work you hear them bark. Ii was barking back messing with them. The Turkeys are aggressive and not scared during mating. They actually chased a co worker across a parking lot the other day. He actually got out to take pictures and the toms attacked him. They pecked him and spurred him. He had to fend them off with his foot and climb up on a dock.
