I browse Armslist and Gunbroker an for an unhealthy amount of time. I use both regularly (sell on Armslist, buy on Gunbroker.) My girlfriend accepts it- better than smoking or drinking.

I’m getting ready to sell some stuff. Why do you prefer Armslist for selling?

Edit: never mind. It appears Armslist is geared towards local markets. I cannot sell or transfer my first item within Maryland so I guess that leaves gunbroker.

I just sold a FNX 45 Tactical on GunBroker and it was very easy. Went to the UPS Customer Center in Frederick to ship. Brought copy of destination FFL and it was all done in 5 minutes. I got a much better bid than I would have just keeping it local I think.

Armslist WAS good for local sales but I have not used it since they started charging a monthly fee so I can't say if its gotten better or worse. I had a handgun on Armlist a year or so ago and it was nothing but people who disappeared once I asked what FFL or MSP barracks they wanted to use.
