    OK,
Son just getting his HQL and interested in a new G17

thx for any suggestions. I know what could be done back in Feb is NOT what is going on right now so looking for advice

What are the available routes. I'd really like to patronize an IP but I take it I'd have to wait in line for a couple hours just to even get to a counter to talk to them.
We are in Howard County but willing to drive 30 minutes or so just to buy.
I am patient with the calendar so I don't mind making a deposit or what ever to order it and do the paper work when it comes in. Even if that is a couple months.

He really likes my Gen 3 so I know he would want to put a Gen 4+ into his hands before he buys.

    Deal with local IP?
Buy online and find local to do transfer?
    Something else?

Oh, and I would not mind throwing a new Lower or two into the same purchase where ever we go.

Give Gunrunners a call. He had a few Glocks in when I was in there last week. Not sure what he had though, I wasn’t really looking for a Glock.

I saw G17’s at Freestate and Cindy’s Hot Shots a week ago.

Freestate is the most reasonable place I've seen lately. They normally have a pretty nice selection. I was in there a couple weeks back talking to my guy and he said that they bought 350 Glocks from their distributor.

I’ve seen p 80’s available. More of a collector than a shooter in my opinion. Have seen a few gen 5’s in stock as well. I’ve been 5-6 in line a few times recently and usually a 30 minute wait at my lgs.

Scotts Gunsmithing in Glen Burnie had a few last week. Give them a call.

I was at Gun Connection yesterday. Bought a G19 (just because) and a Kel-Tec sub2k (I was looking for a Ruger PC Carbine, but they are hard to find lately). They had Glock 17s there. I walked in with zero wait. Prices were reasonable.

Thanks Badger1, the DK link found me the cheapest I’ve seen a Glock 20 in months and finally in stock

    Nice! And you're welcome hornbakerfella.

For anyone else looking, the other place I've found that sometimes has a few Glocks recently (and is not gouging) is Rooftop Defense.
They have one 48 and two 26's right now, but I've seen them with the 17 gen5 and 43X in the past month or so.

Just saw a post from Atlantic Guns in Rockville, showing literally a pile of new Glock boxes in their showroom.

I was at Freestate yesterday. I did see one G17 for, I think, $499. It was in passing and I'm not a Glock guy, so Gen unknown.

I have an unfired Gen-3 G17 that comes with night sights and an internal Lasermax guide rod installed.

    Thx all,
Son went to Atlantic Guns this morning and put in for a G17 Gen 3. They had lots of them priced a little bit below MSRP
