SK published data shows a muzzle velocity of 1073 fps for their SK Match (red box) 22LR ammo. This is from their 26” test barrel. I have two rifles that I am trying to develop longer range ballistics tables for with this ammo and need accurate MV data. My chronograph is not working.

Does anyone have any empirically determined MV info for SK Match ammo from a Kidd 16” SS Match barrel (10/22)?

Does anyone have any empirically determined MV info for SK Match ammo from a Remington 541-T barrel (Rem 21” chrome moly)?

I do recognize that even with the same brand components there will be rifle to rifle differences, but measured MV’s from similar rifles/barrels will likely be more accurate than the published value.

If you weren't so far away, I would let you use mine.

Tbh though, I would shoot the rifle at various distances and use the DOPE to determine the velocity. I do this before my matches at 25, 50, 100, and 200. I then try to determine the MV and BC using those DOPE values
