Yep you read that right. A company offers an AR upper that shoots soda/ beer cans over 100 yards.

I have no clue why I want this, I’ll never use it, but I still want it.

    Uses blanks to fire.

I’ve thought it might be useful to launch one of those frozen bait popsicles into the surf for fishing, but I doubt the libs on the OC beach would take too kindly to someone with a big black scary popsicle shooting death machine.

is it chambered in 10oz Bud Light? If so, it would be a big hit in SoMD.

I guess you haven’t heard, there’s a shortage of 10 oz. right now. We got 1/3 of our order last week and 0 this week.

Yeah, I was thinking about posting a 6 pack in the classifieds for $100 :)

Great for launching cans and then having someone shoot them down with a shotgun. Regular soda cans go right about 100 yards. The half height cans will go nearly 120. The golf ball launcher is said to huck them 800 yards...

Old news. There are a couple threads here on these. F5mfg is actually who makes them for Xproducts. Can get it cheaper direct from F5mfg.

This may be a duplicate thread, but it does add new information - where to buy the things cheaper and it has a modular insert for golf balls and nets

I have had one for years. Fun shooting tennis balls with the kids or if you have a dog that likes to run. Also great for launching full soda cans for skeet shooting. Or try a spray paint into a hard target with a lit flare strapped to it. I think they make a 308 model now but I expect those blanks are a little pricey.

    I have this one...

    https://f5mfg.com/product-category/can-launchers/

I went with the can launcher on sale for 139 and added the $20 golf ball attachment. total 159. for some reason this is cheaper then the "combo" for 169. Neither come with a bcg. Source a cheap one from online. I shot a golf ball from my dads porch, almost hit the street about 750 feet away. It's a ton of fun to shoot, my kids love when I send soda cans at a tree in the woods!
