    6.5 Creedmoor would be my choice. Accurate and fast enough for gongs and groundhogs out to 600 yards, powerful enough for deer.

    25-06 would be my vote but you could have also added 6.5x55 Swede to your poll as my 2nd choice.

    My new caliber for 2020 was going to be a lever gun in 45-70,,
    But well, 2020 happened. Marlin was bought by Ruger, they are moving Marlin's operation and production will not re-start until mid 2021.
    Currently Marlin big bore lever guns are selling for 2-3X MSRP.
    So I guess 45-70 will be my new caliber for 2022?

    You left off 300 hamr and 300 blackout. Both are good options for ar's to hunt with, you also have the newer 350 legend as an option or the thumpers like 450 bushmaster or 458 socom.
