AR15 with integral gas block?

I was looking at am upper this weekend at Chantilly, they had machined the gas block right into the barrel. Anyone have any knowledge on this?
I can see a problem if you needed to adjust the gas system.

Not sure what they cost, or how this would be better than the existing gas blocks. Now you can't swap out for an adjustable gas block. And how good are these barrels? Think I'll stick with pinned gas blocks.

They claimed half minute accuracy with a 16" barrel, complete upper was $750, I passed. BUT, it was cool to see.

Novel idea, really kind of interesting when you step back and look at it.

BUT, one of the things I enjoy about the platform is the modular nature of it. And having an integral gas and muzzle system that can't be modified doesn't really appeal to me. So while a cool idea, it's not for me.

It was a. cool thing to hold, but yeah, why lose a possible adjustment.

I like the idea and could see it being used by LE or Mil as there ammo choices are more restricted if they come out with an adjustable gas version it could be a game changer. Either way very interdesting.

HAD to make a call, their patent DOES include an adjustable block,,,, they are working on government contracts,,, so unless they start getting inundated with calls, it is NOT high on the list of priorities, my call was "the first call enquiring" about an adjustable gas system.

Oh well. Maybe someday.
