Nice job and thanks for sharing.

The idea of getting Patton's quote engraved on a brass placard and attached to the top cross piece would be the only possible change I'd make, not that it needs any change at all.

I like that idea too. I'm going to look into it. Maybe a laser cut piece of metal. Going to look up some ideas.

That would be a perfect solution. Some ideas like adding all four manuf. logos, the Patton quote, etc. All very easily done with laser etching. I had that done for my late pup Penny's granite grave marker. Sent the engraver a crisp digital graphic file of her and the etching was beautiful. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again. And if I remember correctly it wasn't all that expensive.
