Ok, playing with my poly80, I set my slide on the frame, and something doesn't look right.

Thoughts, opinions? Smart ass comments? (This is MD Shooters after all)

    Thanks

Is this with a barrel and guide rod installed? If not, then I wouldn't worry until they are and it looks like that. The slide front should be flush with the frame. You look fine.

Don't worry, you will have plenty of other problems to troubleshoot before you are done :) that is the fun of it. HAHAHA

I tell people (once all rails are in) to put some fine sandpaper, like 800 grit down on a table...Turn the gun upside down. Give some good smoothing to the tops of the rails.
Alot of people will tell you to build it and cycle it a few hundred times to get it smooth.
I have a friend who did it both ways. I like the sandpaper way better. Then polish everything up real good with some metal polish and make it slick.
Make sure you have a good clean cut where you spring runs down the center of the cutout so you don't get any hangups.

If you take your time, you can have a gun that will never have a malfunction unless you limp wrist it intentionally to test.
    They are pretty fun builds!
    Good luck on yours.

OP, your frame has no guts in it. Put the guts in it and then worry.

Glocks are all about function. If you want beauty, build a 1911... (Channeling my inner JMB)
