These two photos should show a little more clearly what I mean. I have three poly80's and have handled about ten others that belong to friends. They all have this small outcropping on the back. It is marginally unsightly, but my view is function over form :)

You can file that down without a problem.

Ok, playing with my poly80, I set my slide on the frame, and something doesn't look right.

Thoughts, opinions? Smart ass comments? (This is MD Shooters after all)

    Thanks
Once your slide is in its proper position, it should look more like this.

I just looked at photos of a friends P80 G19 and it sticks out about less than 1mm
    I have a P80 G19 and its flush
    I have a P80 G17 frame w/ clone G34 slide and it sticks out about a mm
I have a Factory G17 Gen 3 and its flush.

So I'd say that depending on the slide, there can be some variation.
My only guess is that to avoid patent infringements, you have to make some modifications to dimensions (which is not that hard) and to sell it, you still have to make it functional.
Design patents are easy to get but hard to enforce cause they just change some non critical dimensions and it does not violate the patent in many cases (IANAL)

Yeah the front wasn't perfectly flush,,, but thats what mine looks like,,,, and I was wondering. I feel better now.
I have one parts kit, would like to find another, of 2.
Also ordered a Gen 4 trigger so I can swap the ejector as Marine gun builder suggested.

Yeah confirmed my suspicion. Anyone have a Glock trigger pin they can part with until mine arrives, or I pay for a pin kit.
