    How about birdshot? Much cheaper to shoot, and would allow my wife the opportunity to shoot the shotgun with a slightly smaller fear of "unfathomable recoil."


    not a problem, if you want to pattern it though, you might want to bring some butcher's paper.

    That was a lot of fun and my first experience at an outdoor range in a number of years. I forgot exactly how fun it is to shoot bowling pins, especially when it's your shot that finally knocks it free from the cable. Lotta neat toys up there too. :)
