Just tried a can. It looks like dog food but it tastes quite good. Has a roast beef flavor to it. The fat seems to gather in large white chunks that can be easily picked out, so it’s probably leaner than you might think.

The only ingredients are meat and salt. The cans are 14oz which for me is two servings.

Thumbs up from me on this one!

An internet search tells me that 2 oz 90/10 ground beef has 5.5 grams of fat and 11.5 grams of protein, so Keystone is leaner than 90/10 which is a plus in my book.

Where did you pick them up at?

    Q

Amazon Prime but they’re sold out now. The price was good ($5/can) although I wouldn’t say this is necessarily a budget meat product. Fresh meat is cheaper. Of course this is pre cooked and lot more storable.

For me, ground beef in a can should be:
    Sloppy Joes
    Chilli

    What is the expiration date?

I love corned beef hash from a can and homemade. I take the can stuff and mix it with batter and make corned beef hash waffles.

    We aren’t there yet bud

First thing to pop into my head, are we there yet?

I will kill red meat before I get to this point.

Now, corned beef hash...totally different situation. Fried onions, ketchup, and a fried egg on top, now we're talking!
