Main st Reisterstown sucks and people wonder why restaurants struggle.

The shell station and Rofo have permanent cockroaches that hangout outside smoking cigs.

Happens in my neighborhood once a year

Cops told me they put a bunch of shitty kids in a van and drive them to the suburbs at 3am to start checking door handles

They do a different neighborhood each night

Then they pack what they haul into a van and go back to the shitty

    Fixed.

I rarely lock car doors. I don't keep valuables in my car.
I guess I'd rather have some turd open the door and steal that pack of gum, cheap sunglasses, ice scraper, 28 cents and old fries under the seat without breaking a window or buggering up the metal and paint.

I absolutely never leave guns in my car overnight, and it's EXTREMELY rare for me to leave ammo in there just because I'm paranoid I'll accidentally drive through DC with it. If I've got a class or match the next day, MAYBE I'll stage outside of my safe in a locked room.

*****I live in a supposedly "safe" neighborhood and there is no way I'd leave guns or ammo in my car overnight. I pre-stage all of my match stuff in my home so I can quickly load up the car in the morning before heading out.

I was in Frederick at a Wawa once after a range day and walked by a car that was left running in front of the store with the doors *unlocked* and you could clearly see the guys range bag and a couple of holstered pistols with no mags in the open bag. That's just *crazy* to me and a whole order of magnitude above mild retardation (dunno if you can say retard anymore..)...

There were people in and out of that store and just milling about the entire time the guy was buying his death dog, fries, and a diet coke. Someone could have easily opened his car door and just taken off with his range bag or even just driven off in his car with his range stuff including his guns... :sad20:

I just don't understand some people and how they would even remotely think that was ok to do in such a public place. My CRSO was there and I let him know, and he talked to the guy, who was at our match that day.

    Crazy people.

    Happens in the city daily

Every night. We’ve got video to show it. Doesn’t stop anything. Don’t buy the ads. Cameras do nothing to stop crime. They just help you prosecute the criminal if the police happen to recognize them.

    Unlocked vehicles...

For the few occasions where my vehicle is left outside unlocked, I always leave a bag with a variety of wrappers and used tissues in a convenient location so as to be considerate of any local miscreants. :innocent0

No. I was talking about leaving garage door remotes in the car.

They break into the car, steal the remote, then come back later to break into the house.

Ahh... the extra storage room syndrome...
