The CW380 is a little ammo picky, but most FMJ and loads that use XTP bullets are reliable. Main issue some have is the really steep feed angle, and they can have feed issues, older models had weak mag catches. Both have a nice DAO trigger, the long smooth 7# pull is good for control, but has the full length reset most all DAOs had before short reset triggers like the GLOCK safe action came around.
I also had the P9 which I carried for many years until I switched to the P365 after the bugs were worked out. I have the P380 which I have added fiber optic sights and a laser for a better sight picture. One thing about Kahr's, for small barreled guns, they are very accurate.

This "belly gun" talk is amusing. I shot the FBI qual about a year ago with my Gen 1 LCP and passed easily even though I had never before fired it at targets beyond 15 yds. Passed with an 84. And 2 shots didn't count because my reload was slow (coming from pocket AND slide does not lock back). I'm sure I'd score at least a 90 if I did it again.

I reload and shoot 180 grain hollow points out all my Khars. It makes them pretty snappy and most people do not like because of the heavy loads. However, after shooting 9mm and 380 you cannot compare the knock down power of the 40 caliber no matter what you shoot with.

My K40 shoots very accurate at 20 yards and the CW40 at 15 yards. For 3 inch barrels you cannot beat them.

I will give the heads up that Kahr is designed for Small Hands . This can be good or bad depending upon the shooter .

And then of course the whole supporting a Religious Cult thing .

Ex got a Kahr in .40 while we were still married.

Instructions said to shoot 200 rounds for break in before trusting it.

We took it to the range, and between the two of us, barely got 100 rounds through it. NASTY snap.

OTOH, I took my P365 to the range and put 200 rounds through it, and wished I had brought more ammo.

John from MD, what bugs were ‘in’ the 365?

Early models had some issues. I'm afraid I don't recall what they were. I googled it when I considered buying mine about two years ago. They are all fixed now, mine runs like a house on fire. The only thing I did was to convert the trigger to a flat face which really makes a difference in the amount of trigger movement.

The snap just makes sure you are paying attention yes it is a wake up call. It took me a while to get use to it and prepared me for my .500 S&W magnum which can now shoot single handed.
