    Then you decide that since you have a SA .44, you need a DA .44 and a .44 carbine. Of course now you need the same in .45lc, and .357, and .22 and maybe .41mag...

    IMO a used Smith & Wesson model 27 is really tough to beat. If not the 27, the somewhat less adorned (and therefore less expensive) Model 28 Highway Patrolman is sweet too, even if it is lacking that really nice glossy blued finish and checkering on the top strap.
