where do you buy your steel targets from

I'm looking at getting a 1/2" siloutte target that's ar500 steel and so far I'm looking at 140 to my door. Anybody know of any better deals out there? I want 1/2" so I can shoot pistol and carbine at my house from 10-80 yards and then take it out to shoot distance as well. Last ones I bought off eBay are good but there just small 3/8 pistol targets.

Don't need a stand, unless I missed it shooting7 only sells gongs. Just see if anyone knows a better deal to be had than what I've found So far.

I have bought a bunch from Wideners, some 3/8" and some 1/2". I have hit them with a ton of 45 and 556 but have hit the 3/8" with some shotgun slugs and 500S&W and they stood up to it, though I wouldn't recommend it a lot. In all cases the targets are hanging from chains.

Where do you shoot? The AGC allows steel to shot with rimfire and blackpower on the 100y line all the time. Arlington RPC also has several steel shoots a year. 50y Pistol (rimfire & centerfire), 100y Centerfire & Rimfire Rifle (2700FPS and below no armor piercing/steel core), 200y Steel and 3 gun shoots on steel. If you can't shoot steel your shooting at the wrong place. Once you shoot steel you'll never want to shoot paper again. Come check us out this Saturday 3/21 on the 100y range from 9am-2pm. Watch your ears, these hang from a chain and 95% 9mm shots. 3/8" AR500. I would suggest not getting ones with holes that protrude too far.
