    I'm helping someone build an AR pistol and we need a pistol-style Lower Receiver Parts Kit (w/buffer/spring/tube).

    This person thrives on instant gratification, so buying one someplace near central Maryland/BWI area would be ideal.

    Any ideas?

    A carbine buffer tube is a pistol tube when fitted with an adjustable brace. You can buy a standard round pistol tube if you plan to affix a non adjustable brace.

    If it's something that needs to be done today, options may be limited to ranges with stores (Guntry, Continental, Freestate, etc.), as most shops are closed on Sundays.

    Also the ranges may not be open too much longer, depending on the weather.

    It's been a while since I was last in Atlantic Guns(before they moved), but they used to carry just about everything you need to build an AR(pistol build would be a bit of a stretch though).
    Engage, not so much.

    Tyler usually has plenty of AR parts. Gun Connection usually has a bunch of build parts.
