A few weeks ago, I got some pulled 10mm 180gr HP's. They had the worst pull marks I have ever seen.
    .
Today I received 1000 of these 158gr .38/.357 blems for $88 to my front porch. They look great to me.

I checked out the link you posted, but what I searched for was out of stock. I will be keeping an eye out for sure. What is the reason for there being so many pulled bullets?

I'm pretty sure they buy pulldowns that were rejected for whatever reason.
The 10mm/.40 I got look like Federal Hi Shoks. The .38/.357 are still in stock (not pulls) and I am really happy with 158gr FMJ for <9cpr delivered.

    I just ordered 1K OF THE 38/357's.
    Seems like a great deal.
I haven't loaded/shot them yet, but upon hands on inspection, I have enough reloading time to believe it was a really good deal. I randomly weighed 20 of them and they were all between 156-159gr. That is close enough to 158gr for 99.9% of reloaders.
For @remrug buying pulled precision rifle bullets is a roll of the dice. Pulled pistol bullets and "plinking" rifle bullets need to be really effed up for anyone outside Jerry Michalak to notice when shooting.

I see. I have shot a bunch of Nosler seconds without any hiccups but have never shot any pulled bullets except the handful I created myself.

To clarify, shooting 9mm pulls at 25yds is fine for everyone. When shooting pulled 6.5mm or .308 at >200yds, a really skilled shooter would likely be able to tell a difference.
Personally, I'm not a good enough shot to notice a 0.2MOA discrepancy between: top shelf, blems and pulled projectiles. Grapefruit size groups at 500yds are the upper limit of my skill level. EShell, 4G64Loser, Dbledoc, et al, would likely notice a difference at that distance.

Even the .308 pulls I get from AR don't show any difference when shot from my Dissent pistol at 50 yards. They marks on them are just light scratches unlike the dents that pulled bullets used to have 15-20 years ago.

With all AR offerings, you have to read the description, anything with moderate or heavy pull marks should be avoided IMHO unless you’re looking for blasting rounds (which I do make on occasion). I usually won’t even post them here if heavy marked.

Mixes are the hardest to gauge, it’s a risk/reward that most have the propensity for. I’ve been burned by a few mixes, but also made out 10x with them.. like buying stocks..

Seconds usually have something wrong with their weight or construction

    Blems usually are just cosmetic

Pulls may be perfect and just pulled because of storage or transport issues, but the quality of the pull comes into factor.

As always, do your research and make your decisions. My shooting is 99% steel for fun and I enjoy saving 40-80% .

AR has been good for me. Bought their pulled HST 147gr, weighed a few and found only a couple with a little bit of sealant. No marks.

They group up fine for a SD load- probably just fine for a match load (but who’d shoot JHP in a match?)

I’ve also loaded up .308 pulled 168gr Noslers for K31 in 7.5 x 55. Made a fine load for 100 yard service rifle matches. Never taken them out farther, though.
