Does anybody know of a dog grooming facility that is open right outside of petco or petsmart? My in-laws have a cocker spaniel-poodle mix that is need of a haircut(just like the rest of us). All of the dog grooming places are closed since they believe they are nonessential.

    We are in Frederick.

Might try to call/contact some of the independent shops, the lady that does the grooming for my family is doing it out of her garage one small dog at a time. In the Glen Burnie area.

We’ve tried reaching out to some of the independents. Calling just goes to voicemail. And we’ve tried messaging some places on Facebook with no response. They unfortunately didn’t have a consistent person doing the grooming, so it’s a little tricky finding someone to reach out too that would do it for us from home.

There’s a mobile groomer in my neighborhood, Angelic Paws. I don’t have any experience with them, I just see the van. Maybe the mobile groomers can operate? I don’t know.

Would you be willing to PM me your name so I can tell her you referred me to her. I don’t always feel like people take kindly to “I got your number off of a local gun forum”.

DIY. Pro grade clippers are around $200. Andis 2 speed.

Pays for itself in two groomings.

    Should be easy hair type.

YT is your teacher. For a cocker cut, look up Zim Family Cockers.
