Saw this and figured that I would post it up for everyone. Be aware of the 20 -25 % buyers premium plus tax. The 9/19 auction has an online component along with the general auction and has a few bang sticks in it. The 9/26 has an older, decent looking (from the pics) 4wd truck. I know that some members have posted that they were looking for a used truck for various purposes. I've bought things from this auctioneer before and have never had a problem, but as always, use your own discretion. I'll probably go to the 9/19 auction.

    Good luck!

    Bump -

If you decide to go on Saturday (9/19), be for warned that parking is in a field/pasture with hills. Traction may be a concern if the field is wet.

I don't have any connection to this auctioneer. Just enjoy attending a good auction when time allows.

Look at the flier for preview times. The online auction is a part of the overall auction day.

Buyer's fee looks to be 10% for the auction on the 19th. And a 5% credit card fee. Plus an FFL fee, of course.

The 10% buyers premium is for people who are bidding in person at the auction. If you choose to bid online using AuctionZip, it goes to 25%.

4 -5 years ago when I purchased a guns at this auction, they were using MD Quartermaster (then located in Bel Air). MD Quartermaster was not doing transfers of long guns at the auction and buyers had to go to their shop at a later date to do the transfer.

Well that blows big time.. both paragraphs
Is it normal for online bidding to have that large a premium ? And if so what's the excuse for that?
