    Anyone built one of these and has the tooling now sitting around collecting dust? Not sure if tooling is the same as the metric FAL.

    Same receiver wrench for both. Mine is being used by someone else.

    FWIW, I did my first one with some oak blocks to hold the receiver and the bolt carrier to keep from crushing it. I used a metric wrench on the barrel flats. FALs aren’t that complicated to assemble.

    The tool you really need is the pin gauge for measuring which locking shoulder you need. I assembled and checked headspace. I got lucky on the first 2. I borrowed one for the others.
