Groups of Gun-grabbers like Gifford’s claim Pennsylvania has no Child Access Prevention laws, but I think some local jurisdictions (such as Philadelphia) might have passed toothless local ordinances about child access to firearms. Any age child with adult supervision can participate in target shooting, hunting and trapping but I think the minimum age for Hunter Safety classes is 12 and most gun ranges have rules on what ages are allowed.

Im not sure why you need laws.

Have access, be responsible no one hears.

Irresponsible, everyone hears. Now it is blame on a gun....:shocked3::sad53:

Many thanks for this. Anything statewide to your knowledge about unsupervised access in the home?

I am unaware of any statewide PA law about unsupervised child access to firearms in the home, but not a lawyer. If a child is killed or injured by a firearm in a gun owner’s home, the circumstances and ages involved might bring child endangerment charges on the gun owner in some PA jurisdictions. I think it would be the same as for toxic chemicals and poison stored in someone’s home.
