The truth is this has nothing to do with marijuana/guns. This has to do with people who disagree with other people smoking pot. It's cultural and punitive in nature. Nothing more.

The Lefties are "for" smoking pot, and in so far, it appears that only Lefty states are the ones "threatening" to enforce this.

I believe it has EVERYTHING to do with guns.

I heard from someone through someone that using federally illegal substances is enough to exclude you from firearm purchases. So in this case, since it's still federally illegal, you can be denied the ability to continue to purchase firearms.

I didn't realize this could turn into a confiscation issue. Which makes me very sad. It's stupid it is even an issue for considering the very well known and documented dangers of legal pharmaceuticals.
