    :innocent0 I didn't do it...

...but I bought it with the intention of undoing it :fingerscrossed:

Sportered in a similar fashion to yours. It's a buddy's that I re-did since his skill with wood is less than zero and you have to do a little inletting work with them.

Still missing stacking swivel and the cross-bolt that goes through the nose-cap, but he's order them. Doing the same for his No.4 Mk.1 as well.

Speaking of C&R ... issat a 45rpm record on the table?

    Why yes, yes it is.

Looks like a Sire records 45:innocent0

Where is the Bubba on the No 1 rifle? looks good to me.

You are correct in that it is a Sire Records 7" 45 RPM. It happens to be The Talking Heads "Wild Wild Life"

    The 45s go to the not-quite C&R piece pictured below. It's a Rowe/AMI RI-5 circa 1982.

Doco Overboard, the Bubba is sitting on the table in front of the restored No1. Bubba had his way with her, I patched her back up for a friend. Art3 had posted somewhere earlier in the thread with one that looked almost exactly like the one I restored prior to the restoration.

    Nice :party29:

No.4 stocks still seem somewhat available. I'm trying to find a non-Ishapore No 1...without success. I'd really like to find one with the volley sight cut out (I've got a repro volley sight ordered from Numrich...if they ever open again:rolleyes:)...but that seems to be dreaming awfully big:sad20:

If you REALLY want volley sights, there's a single Lee Metford left at RTI last I checked.

    "Custom stippling" throughout.
Even the grip screw and escutcheons, and lanyard ring got the treatment.
Unfortunately it's also a pretty rare Spreewerk Zero series.
A truly "WTF were you thinking" moment.

    The horror, the horror...
