I am giving away this small arbor press. I believe this was used for crimping connectors with appropriate tooling. It can be used as a small press. It is not too heavy. Cast aluminum construction. You can adjust the stroke of the ram with the ring on the top. The face of the ram is removable.
    Pickup in Clinton. No shipping.

It's gotta be a knockoff made by someone who isn't that bright. How do I know? The plate says "MFG. IN USA." If the knockoff artist was the least bit clever, the plate would say "MFG. IN CHINA" because THAT would be believable. Everyone know we don't make anything here anymore. :P

AMP makes some electrical connectors (Ampacts)you shoot on with a gun. They're wedge shaped and have a tapered slug that fits in the middle with wire slots on each side.
They can range anywhere from no 8 cu to .795- 950 diameter ALum.
The big gun takes a yellow rimmed shell that has a small charge ignited with modified primer. Some shells are designed as knock off charges that will separate the connectors once they are together. (White and red)

The yellow shells have a 3/8 inside diameter that's designed to fit over a piston on the gun.
They will slide right over the end of a 3/8 copper-weld ground rod that acts like a bang stick when you smack it off the pavement. Theirs probably about 5-10 grains of flake powder in front of the primer.
Pretty fun to do when everybody's worried about getting shot at when working in the city.
The small gun takes a blue shell.
A lag will fit into the yellow shell that you can drop from the bucket when you look down and everyone's not paying attention at the back of the truck.
