If you take the picture with a phone or ipad, it stores the direction it thinks is 'up' with the picture. Browsers will read that flag and flip the picture in a direction they think should be 'up' based on the flag. Often, that is sideways or upside down from what it should really be. If you load the picture into an editing software and save an altered version, it gets saved without that rotation flag.

Be careful, now you have to keep those two apart or they might end up multiplying and draining your bank account in the process. LOL

Both look like wonderful specimens. Congratulations

Man you were not kidding, now this one is here :D:lol2:

OlCarJunkie - looking at the sights on your lever gun posted above; I am still trying to get used to the semi-buckhorn sights on my Browning BL-22. Very similar to yours.

    Funny you mention this.

What I seem to be finding out, given my own experiences, and reading about those of others? Seems that many/most with semi-buckhorn are still trying to get used to them. Many years later, for perhaps some of us.

Those type sights work very well for me. I have something similar on my Ranger.

    Some recent lever porn.

Marlin XLR 30-30 yes its JM stamped which is uncommon as these were not made for long before the sale to Rem

Marlin 336 .35 rem Havent run the serial number but probably produced sometime in the 80s. Want to get this one out and get some rounds through it.

Marlin 336SS yes its JM stamped.

Not sure how the RIA shotty got in the photo.

This rifle started life as a standard 1895ss with a 22” barrel. I made myself a very handy 16.25” barreled trapper. I hunt very thick brush on my property and this will be great for that.

This is giving me some ideas for a future purchase. I want a threaded barrel anyway, so this would work out well for my needs.

Just picked up my first lever gun. It is used but in immaculate condition. A Marlin 1895SBL in 45-70. It is waiting for a Mason leather cartridge cuff and sling, and a vortex diamondback 1.75-5x32 scope.
