My Buffalo Brand and Diamond D slings came in. Used all metal, Made is US, GrovTec swivels on both guns.

The natural leather colored Diamond D one is on the 1895GS and the Mahogany colored Buffalo Brand Leather one is on the 1895G. I had the Buffalo Brand one custom made without the ammo loops on it.

I also added Beartooth Mercantile brass magazine followers to both rifles.

The 1895G has a Skinner Express peep sight on it and I am waiting on a Wild West Guns hammer spur to come in for it.

I have ordered a Skinner Alaskan peep sight for the 1895GS and it has the factory Marlin hammer spur on it.

I liked the leather products so much that I have ordered matching Diamond D and Buffalo Brand buff cuffs with ammo loops for both guns.

Both .45-70s are Pre-Remington, JM Stamped Marlins. The 1895G is factory ported, the 1895GS is not. The others are Colt 6721s and a 5847 Mini-14.

Any Bighorn Armory guns out there?

The BHA 500 and its great-great-granddad 45-70 born in 1892.

Edit: Its funny how short the 18" bbl of the 500 looks.

Picked this up last night from Gunrunners. Going to clean it up today, out of sight of my youngest, as this 49-year old rifle might be a Christmas or future birthday gift. :)

1971 Marlin Model 39M Article II Carbine, NRA Centennial Commemorative, 20-inch octagonal barrel. Limited production release on the 100 year anniversary of the NRA. Came with the box. Rifle was said to have been unfired by the original owner. We will shoot this one. They have a reputation for outstanding accuracy even with the iron sights. Prior to 1971, Marlin referred to this carbine variant of the 39A as the Mountie.

Joins a rimfire lever action collection that includes a Browning BL-22 and a pair of Winchester 9422s.

Damn , I wish I had gone there before you did! Nice one.
It's a shop of temptations. He had a couple of Winchester Model 94s that I was also eying. One a Buffalo Bill Commemorative in 30-30 (from the same seller whose Marlin 39M was there - so similar pristine condition), and another a 1950s era gun in 32 Winchester Special (a round that one can still purchase in stores despite the current shortage). The latter was under $400. Good price for a pre-64. Might go back for it.
