"Attention all Tangier, Smith, and Crisfield residents. Starting Monday at 8AM and continuing till Friday at 3 PM, The US military will be conducting a large scale exercise From Tangier island to Smith Island to just north of Crisfield to Wallops.
During this exercise, you can expect large formations of fighter aircraft to conduct tactical maneuvering in this airspace, flying at airspeeds up to approximately 540 KIAS and performing rapid altitude changes (climbing or descending) as they intercept one another. That is 736 MPH or just below the speed of sound.
They will be operating from the surface to approximately 4000 ft above the water. Maneuvers like this can be startling to people and may come up on boats quick. "
We pretty much will have our own airshow for 5 days next week.

540 knots would be 621 mph not 736.
